Darren trained in a prominent national law firm and has worked in the United Kingdom for a major international firm.
Having a broad practice base, Darren is a Principal Lawyer in Kliger Partners’ Dispute Resolution Team, Commercial and Corporate Team (with an entertainment law specialisation) and Construction Team.
Darren’s broad client base includes major business broking and real estate agents, Australia’s largest entertainment companies, major developers and builders in the building and construction industry (commercial and domestic).
He is actively involved in giving seminars and in writing articles for the firm and the industry.
Darren is regularly instructed to draft exclusive agency agreements, major construction contracts on behalf of developers and builders (commercial and domestic) and joint venture and shareholders agreements for entertainment clients.
Darren’s litigation experience extends to all key jurisdictions (including VCAT). He has a particular specialisation in claims for commission by agents and claims made under the Security of Payment Act and general construction related disputes.
Darren believes that the key to success is fully understanding a client’s commercial objective, whilst giving sound and timely strategic advice. |
