Trade mark owners need to be vigilant about renewals following recent changes

Merely registering a company, business or domain name will not give you an exclusive right to use that name.

Building a valuable brand isn't easy. It is, however, all too easy to jeopardise or destroy the value of a brand by making mistakes in trade
mark selection and registration and failing to properly protect trade mark rights.

If you believe that another party has abusively registered a domain name in relation to a registered trade mark of yours, or another party
has (or may) contest your registration of a domain name, you should seek legal advice.
